I got a stitches and Steel bawdsey air canopy, simple and quick to put up/down.Hi this is only my second post on this forum so forgive me if it’s in the wrong section.
Not what I’ve bought but what I’m looking to buy, I’m looking for recommendations for an awning I have a long wheel base with a pop top, I want a simple awning just somewhere to sit out in to keep out of the sun or more likely the rain, don’t want it enclosed just roll out roll in with whatever supports are necessary.
Thanks
I like the carpet where did you get that fromInflatable sofa and carpet for the awning.

@Insert Coin has - Wireless charging and CarPlay | T6Forum.comJust bought a second Carlinkit 2.0 dongle to make CarPlay wireless in my T6 with Discovery Head Unit.
Works great in my mk5 Golf with an RCD330.
Next step is to relocate the T6 USB plug to the glove box. Has anyone done this?

@Insert Coin Hey mate. Can I ask how you moved the usb? Did you find a blanking plate for the dash? Wondering if you printed one…
@Ricardo T What is it?

I see.I’ve got a comfort dash so my socket was in the glovebox, I just ran a longer cable from the socket and made a hole in the back on the glovebox and ran the cable through to the blanking plate in my dsg cubbyhole. It wasn’t a very difficult or ingenious, loads of threads here on moving the socket or adding a second one which are far better. I’ve got a Kenwood now with proper wireless CarPlay which is much better.
At first glance I thought it was a coffee maker then I realised it is a portable battery pack…@Ricardo T What is it?
Like your thinking on the charging pads. I wonder if the head unit has a second USB on the rear of it so the car link could plug into that?I see.
I just want to relocate the head unit usb to hide the Carlinkit dongle in the glove box. Can’t find an OEM blanking plate to replace the usb in the dash.
I’m then planning to fit wireless charging pads in both front doors in the shallow top pocket.
Hmmm… had the head unit out a couple weeks ago. Certainly no obvious USB connection off the back. Just quadlock + antennas. I don’t know if the stereo has the ability to accept a second usb, via the pins in the quadlock. I’m doubtful.Like your thinking on the charging pads. Its the EcoFlow Delta portable solar generator.....awesome bit of kit, very versatile. Bit pricey but useful not just for camping but for power cuts at home which seem to be at least once a year now and site work if required.@Ricardo T What is it?
