A little wave makes you feel good.

I'm curious........what does that look like? I've just been waving.........what the hell's the matter with me? I need to get with the programme! :)
Joking aside......I'm pretty sure I'm detecting some frostiness.......very sad. On the plus side, I get a cheery wave from a guy in a bright orange T4 panel van.......guess who I'd rather have a beer with?
Frostiness? From who?

So coming back to this thread how many of you do wave. I've passed many T6 vans and very few wave at me, had quite a few T5's & other Dubs wave but not many T6's. One thing I noticed the other day was Cali drivers don't really notice me much either, most likely the Yellow Beach is beneath them when I have flashed or waved but then they seem to ignore each other as well. Was nearly home on Sunday when I came up behind a T5.1 Ocean (SE) I think its local as I've seen it backed up a drive at Streatley but as I was sat behind at some traffic lights there was not much I could do about saying hello. Gets going again and just up the road a Red Cali comes the other way with no acknowledgement between them what so ever Did I ever say they were a strange lot (No Offence to the guys on here), some of them seem that way

Despite having one I think a lot of Cali owners are up-their-own-backsides goons after a bit of "prestige" or something.

Maybe most Cali drivers have just bought a camper rather than a VW camper, if that makes sense. Only had one wave back from another T6.

I've found that with Cali owners on a couple of occasions too. Last time I was in Scotland the little area I slept in ended up with 2 Calis when I woke up, who not only ignored me but also each other. Mind you what was most amusing was just as I was about to move off in the morning, a Blackberry T5 with massive wheels rolled up and manouevered to find the best backdrop. They then put the roof up, opened the hatch and put a table outside underneath it. Then after a quick polish, the big chap who was driving walked round, took a photo of the van against the forest, put the table away, dropped the roof and drove off! The whole thing took less than 5 mins. Instagram/Facebook has a lot to answer for

Probably overnighted in a hotel as well... Muppets.. That's when I lay on the floor blatantly laughing....

Still finding it's hit and miss. More hit than miss with T6's and T4's, more Miss than hit with T5's

First real outing in my T6 last weekend. Most VW van drivers got a wave from me (missed a few) but less than 25% reciprocate- my wife thought I was making it up and told me to stop being a prat

I've been driving around waving and thinking about this a fair bit recently. Currently I'm in a T5 (waiting for the 6 to arrive) and tend to wave at all vans and kombis but not Calis or vintage campers as they always ignore me. I have always presumed they have a special wave all of their own, that I wasn't party to, nor should be in a T5.

So to the T6 wave. I think the wave should be both hands on the wheel with 6 fingers raised. For those without genetic mutations that's five fingers on one hand and the index finger of the other. 6.

Or for extra points. A combination of 6 digits comprised from the driver and passenger and with the advent of dash cameras some interesting pictures could be posted.

TBH, I'm on the verge of giving up! I'm starting to think I must look like Jimmy Saville's twin brother or something!

.......or, if you're from Norfolk and want to show 6 fingers, just hold up one hand! Retiring to the fallout shelter!

(Only joking just incase anyone from Norfolk thinks I'm being serious!)
