Great to see progress on the latest Beta version of the App. I'm getting sensible figures out of the app for my 2.0 TDI DMZA engine using Group 6 - BETA.
Tom is impressively responsive to feedback and I would suggest that anyone with DPF and anyone with a Carista dongle would do well to download this app..

Anyone shed any light on what I am looking at here please. Recently got the app with Carista.

It’s all new to me.

881 miles since last regen over 261 minutes?

Either @Texxaco has either applied some pretty serious performance updates to get Floyd to achieve an average 195 mph over 4 1/2 hours, or there is a glitch!
(I suspect that @IWMTom will resolve this, as he has sorted a similar issue for the DMZA engine group!)

Quite right!

@Texxaco - which engine group are you using from the Settings menu?

I believe it’s the Beta 3 group atm as I could not get the software to read from any other setting.

The engine I have is the 2Ltr 204bhp BiTDi if that helps. .

I'll send you a TestFlight link to try Group 6 - this is for CXEB.
Cheers Tom,

I have downloaded the app you mentioned.

I will change to Group 6 tomorrow send a screenshot over.

Works now Tom. Straight through. I will get in this in the morning mate .

Is the OBD11 dongle not supported?
In the app the Select Device screen shows the dongle as BK3432_BLE but it wont connect even with ignition on.
Tried the orange "Press to contact developer" button but it doesn't do anything for me??

OBDEleven do some dodgy proprietary encryption with their dongle that stops it being used with other apps. Looks like you're trying to connect the app to some smart lightbulbs there :)

I usually recommend either Carista or VGate iCar Pro as reliable dongles available in many regions.

Damn.
That's does appear to be the OBD11 dongle. If I remove the dongle then start the app it doesn't show but as soon as I plug the dongle in the BK3432_BLE appears in the app.
Repeated the above method about 5 times, which is a pain because the app doesn't timeout the connection when trying to connect to it but just sits there showing connecting indefinitely so I have to force close the app each time, but every time that device only pops up when I plug in OBD11.
Oh well.

We are talking about the brand OBDEleven, yes? It appears for me as OBDEleven. Perhaps you have an older model with a bizarre name.

Anyway, yes, unfortunately they kept it as a closed system and prevented use with other apps. Sucks really as there's no need for it. Fundamentally it is just a BLE ELM327 dongle... Crazy.

Yeah, the brand. Wierd thing it appears in the iphone bliuetooth list as OBDeleven but in your app I get the "bizarre name" and not OBDeleven. Purchased about 30 months ago. Yes, I agree, crazy 'cause now I'll have to get another ELM device to use the app. Grrr.

For info- the app doesn’t include engine code CXGB which I think is quite common

The likelihood is it is supported by one of the existing engine groups. Possibly Group 6 which is in BETA at the moment and was designed for CXEB. There's also CXXB in Group 7.

Do you have CXGB? Perhaps I could send you a TestFlight invite to try it out?
