My kids laugh at the van horn - even SWMBO’s Mini is better/louder!My Bro in law has recently had one of these fitted to his latest Indian motorbike, it sounds fearsome on that! He laughed at my van, can't have that!
Nothing random about that, but I feel for your bank account after your expensive week!
Frankly I'm in awe. I have to spend months researching and planning.
Now the fun bit starts ... hopefully it's a straight forward install and doesn't take the number of evenings my upgrade eventually took. Happy to share any war stories to help you on your way if needed.
YesAre you going for a seat base install? The DC DC MPPT fits nicely at the back of the seat base after a bit of fettling.

Here are a few ... I built a frame from alloy angle which bolts into the seat sides and then everything is mounted onto the framework. I had to file a couple of recesses in the seat base to clear the cables which all come up vertically from the DC DC MPPT.Yes
Did you install this? Can you post some more pictures please

To be honest it's not too difficult. There are loads of circuit diagrams around (especially on this forum). Take your time over the planning stage. Draw up a circuit diagram (pencil and paper is as good as anything) and a wiring list. Find few which have your components of choice then see what the differences are. Get the folks on here to comment on your thoughts and ideas. Pay close attention to cable sizes and fuse ratings. There are some pretty big currents involved with some of the cable runs so don't underestimate the size of cable and the size of cable. ANL fuses are BIG both in Rating and physically. You'll also need a hefty crimp tool, carious crimp sizes, and lots of heatshrink.Nice... This has filled me with dread
.. I will have to pay someone to install mine..
My thoughts? Run away run away...!Nice... This has filled me with dread
